About This Facility
Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital, Kokofu is a 56-bed primary healthcare facility with a staff strength of 299. It was the first project established under the blessed Nusrat Jahan Scheme. The hospital was inaugurated on 1st November 1970, following a request by the Chief of Kokofu, Nana Assibey II, during the visit of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (R.A). Initially, the hospital operated from the Kokofu Traditional Council building until 1st February, 1988 when its permanent facility was commissioned by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (R.A). The hospital is located about 30 km from Kumasi, and it serves a population of more than 20,000 people in Kokofu and its surrounding communities. The facility also receives patients from other regions of Ghana and neighboring countries including Togo, Burkina Faso, and Côte d'Ivoire. Our facility is equipped with modern medical equipment and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to serving the Kokofu community and surrounding areas. We maintain strong partnerships with the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service to ensure quality healthcare delivery.
