About This Facility
Established in 1993 under the Nusrat Jahan Scheme, Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital, Daboase operates under the Ahmadiyya Muslim Health Service, Ghana (AMHSG) — an agency of the Ministry of Health. Serving as the District Hospital for Wassa East, the facility provides both primary and specialist healthcare services to clients across all 16 regions of Ghana. Over the years, the hospital has also become a trusted destination for patients from neighbouring countries such as Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali, Nigeria, Niger, and Togo, largely due to the high success rate of its surgical operations. The hospital is registered with the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA) and accredited by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) as a Primary Hospital (Catering Exclusive) – Grade D (Mission), Prescribing Level C. With a total bed capacity of seventy-six (76), Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital, Daboase continues to uphold its mission of delivering quality healthcare in a humane and friendly manner — where Allah is the only Healer.
